The incident involves a ninth-grade student who received an obscene message on WhatsApp from an unknown person in a society in Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad. After getting disturbed, the girl informed her mother about it. Her father filed a case at the Nandgram police station. According to him, when his daughter was attending tuition, she received a call on WhatsApp. When she didn't answer the call, a young man sent her obscene photos. Disturbed, she told her mother about it. They reported the incident to the police through the child helpline number, 1098. The police are investigating the number from which the message was sent, which appears to be from someone named Manish Rawat. The Assistant Superintendent of Police in Nandgram, Ravi Kumar Singh, stated that they are gathering information about the number from which the message was sent.
